I'm having Guinea Fowl this year as I am the only meat eater in the family and a Turkey is too big for just me. Plus it's quite hard to cook them and ensure they don't dry out due to their size.

Poll to follow.

Guinea Fowl is well nice, put streaky bacon on top.

If I had a penny for the number of food threads young Chappers has started this last calender year, I'd have enough by now for a roll of standard sized black binliners and a Toffee Crisp.

Me kids are going to my Ex's in France for Xmas. They're well pissed orf cos they have to have goose for Xmas dinner - as turkey is apparently considered a bird for PEASANTS over there.

I was just going to have a look for ways to cook my bird, this shall be taken into account even though I am not really a fan of adorning birds with bacon.

Is the Wood pidgeon option for the singleton NSC-ers who might be on their tods for Xmas?

Perhaps we can have an Xmas day singleton's thread? I'd be there

turkey that is currently alive and well pecking around outside, i am wavering on eating it now. first year ever.

goose which i believe is already dead.

and some beef, of the non-bird variety.

Not going for the traditional Egyptian Ibis option then?

Then I'm sure the average Frenchie is looking forward to the day they can get promoted to the rank of PEASANT.
