Seinfeld was the king of long running jokes. The series is littered with gags refferring back to old episodes, and resurrecting old jokes. Particular favourites are how Jerry always says "Numan!" whenever someone talks about his annoying neighbour. And also how repeatedly throughout the series someone will call another character in a panic about a situation, only for the person picking up the phone to say "who is this?".

Note: I apologise for not adding clips, I still can't work out how to embed them in my post. Instead I opted for ruining the jokes with wordy sentances that remove the humor.
