Looks like the tax payer is going to have the privilege of paying the bill of £245,000, for Boris Johnson’s Partygate inquiry lawyers.
Makes me feel SO privileged. I’d gladly sell my property, in order to meet his legal expenses.
Shame he can't fund this from his £5m earnings since being sacked as Prime Minister

I guess it’s like the taxpayer paying the legal aid for murderers and rapists.
The difference being recipients of legal aid usually can't afford their own legal fees. I'm going to hazard a guess that Boris is also getting far more expensive representation than those on legal aid.

Perhaps we (the taxpayer) can cover the cost of a crown appointed defence barrister and leave the balance for Johnson to pay?

You have to question why he needs legal representation - normally ministers and MPs appearing before a committee don't have it. The exception being Rabb - who despite his faults paid for his own representation.

Let’s hope for a by-election and that the pig is then ousted.

Stick it in a wicker man and light the touch paper.

Crackling!

I love a good witch hunt (when it’s a real witch of course).
