Iam now far too OLD to play football but if I was still playing, I would certainly wear one of the POLO-NECKED SWEATERS that the Roma players seemed to be wearing against Real Madrid last week. They had huge FOLDS of cloth round the neck, presumeably to keep them WARM.

extra pair of socks, compression t-shirt, gloves, and once upon a time i used to wear a charity wristband and a sweatband, also i tape my socks up!!
