With the greatest respect (and that is meant) The Rev was probably there before you, bought a house in sight of the Old Girl to be close, has been and done more things Albion than most of us could have dreamt of.

I am quite glad you dont understand what I say as this allows me free reign and your ignorance amuses me. I would get a translation but as i have said the devil is busy.

The picture top right was actually taken in the White Horse End at Selhurst, approx March 1976. I had got tickets that day for the old league cup final Everton v Aston Villa along with a mate from school. We were gutted on the train up to London as most of our mates were on the same train going to Palace.
After the match we made our way back to Victoria and bought the late paper, don't remember if it was the Standard but this picture was front page and we instantly recognised the lad next to the copper, the one who still had his hat on, to the right of said copper. He was a regular in the Bosun/Lamb & Flag along with his brother.
