Hooray!

An honest to goodness regular win. No hijinks from insane referees, no VAR, no penalties, disallowed goals..

A “normal” win. And it feels bloody great. Well played GP and the boys. Now bring on the Geordies.

Amen to that.

If, and l did say IF, we can see off the Toon next week, and get three more points up at Bramall Lane, that could well see us on our way to survival. Our other remaining games look far more difficult to obtain points from.

Myself and panel were saying how good Potter was changing things by taking Burn off. That was until I heard Potter say he came off because of tight hamstring

What an excellent victory. Many will point to the fact that we took our chances, but in my opinion that's too simplistic. Look at the quality of the chances we had: two clear cut, one on one's (Gross and Trossard's), and we stick one of them away. How come? IMO because for the fifth win out of the six we had less possession than the opposition. It meant we could play more directly, and there were fewer defenders in the box when we had our chances. I concede that by actually putting it in the net, it relieved pressure off us, but I'm convinced having less possession not only improved the quality of our chances, but also gave the team more stamina to help us see it out for the full 90.

For me, that's far more encouraging than the wins against Liverpool and Spurs. We'd all like to dominate the game and win by a few goals. Yet, as we have only done that once this season (Newcastle away), it's far more satisfying seeing us have slightly less of the ball, but look more deadly when we do. That was FAR more exciting than having 75% possession against Palace and 25 shots.

Super victory and what a great feeling! Credit to GP and I hope he takes this approach forward into the remaining games.

What? Do you believe everything you hear a manager say?
A brilliant tactical move in my book

It's a funny old game full of funny old fans on funny old forums, just a few hours ago we were staring at relegation now I for one is looking how far up the table we could manage before the season ends

Credit to Potter. There is no doubt that he has shown enough this season to indicate he has incredible potential as a manager.
I'd say in 2021 he has got a lot more right than wrong.

Really hope we have a positive summer in terms of culling the guff and getting in some quality and can really push on next season.

Simply a hard fought bloody well earned win , even if we did try to mess it up a couple of times .

Well done lads , two great goals .

All l want to do is get over the line to ensure Premier League survival ASAP. There is an incredibly tendency for posters to get totally carried away on here.
