Some of the football was out of this world. By far the best football I've ever seen us play, up there with the best I've seen.

But

Imagine where we will be when we sort out the finishing. Mac Allister has a lot to do in this regard. Mitoma's run deserved a better finish.

Finishing is where we can still improve and when we do it is going to catapult us.

"Chelsea are like you’ve bought a 1,000-piece jigsaw only to find there are 2,500 pieces in the box and it’s the wrong picture on the cover"

- Jonathan Wilson

Lovely report 👏🏼
I like the beginning where he says....... It’s important to stress just how good Brighton were. They were brilliant and that should be acknowledged...
That piece wouldn't have started that way this time last year.

Imagine if we invested in a 20 goal striker

Loving the Guardian report: “It’s important to stress just how good Brighton were. They were brilliant and that should be acknowledged before getting to the equally obvious point that Chelsea were laughably awful.”

In the comments:

Chelsea’s long term plan for a new stadium is going to end with Boehly bidding £4bn for the Amex and trying to transport it to Earl’s Court with helicopters isn’t it…

I said it a couple months ago, next year you could genuinely challenge for the title. At your best you are playing like a top 5 team in the world.

I saw the same 'click' and player ability I saw from both Arsenal and Napoli last year. If you only lose Mac Allister and a few of your boys improve an extra 10-20% you will be right up there next year (obviously need to keep De Zerbi too).

Might need to add three managers that Chelsea have had this season ;)

Balls?.
English is the third language for me. I sometimes don't understand what native English speakers mean by balls

I asked "Mr.Google Image" and he showed me some naughty images:ROFLMAO:

Only 3rd? No excuses 😜

That's them. Also called cojones and many other names.

In many European languages "balls" (=testicles, and synonyms) are also a figurative term for "boldness, bravery"

What's your second language?

Wow, Brighton are just phenomenal right now and there just aren’t enough adjectives to describe what we are seeing from this side. The confidence they play with is mind blowing and it can only be down to one man, De Zerbi. He has got this side believing that they can do anything if they work hard and boy do they work hard.
The only slight niggle is the amount of chances they make which aren’t converted into goals and if they scored a fraction of those chances they would be winning 6-0 in each game, but they are a joy to watch and I am so proud to support them.

I assume you're very excited to see Jakub Moder training again? He looks tailor made for De Zerbiball. I can't wait to see him in this system.

I am British and have lived in Poland for 23 years and have been a supporter of Brighton for 54 years.
As to Kuba (his name in Poland) yes and no, as it will take him some time to get back to match fitness and with the team as it is at the moment it would be hard to find a place for him, but it's great to have options and maybe next season we will see him back to his old self. ;)
