Were the stewards not their usual awful selves? Typical when I don't go.
The stewards must've been to charm school; they were some of the friendliest I've come across.

It did indeed sound like a home match! What was the official away attendance today?

I came believe this. They're usually the worst in the league.
When Diouf was sent off, all Johnny Cantor said was "its another red. He's off!". The roar that went up was so loud that I immediately assumed it was another Albion player who had gone.
Great day out. I've only got to a few northern away games at Burnley, Blackpool, Birmingham, Bolton and niw Leeds. The fans have been amazing all season, but at Leeds they were by far the best. (I am surprised at the away attendance quoted on here of ~1900 because it felt like far more and the enclosure seemed almost full and was supposed to hold 3000 away fans)
We were in an awful position to see the game, but the fans sang their heart out. I have no doubt the fans winding up of Diouf led directly to his dismissal. Just a shame about Bruno and Calde....
The stewards and police were ever-present, but ok. My 13 year old daughter didnt much like being videoed! A few Leeds fans were spoiling for a fight, but got no chance.
That was the best away match I have ever been to. The support for the Albion was The best ever. Thank you everyone who went.
