Poyetry In Motion
Pooetry Motions
Last night I was led to believe by the rather delicious Becky Mantin, that I should stay indoors, batten down the hatches, nail down the dog,get extra food etc because there was a storm of enormous proportion about to hit the south coast.
With trepedation and a little bit of excitement, I therefore settled in and snuggled up to the wife awaiting the big storm.
Now, I actually fell asleep quite early ( 11ish ) so, waking up this morning, my first thought is..."ooh bugger,I missed the storm - wonder what damage it did?"
*Oddly enough, I also slept through the hurricane of 1987*
Anyway, I peer out the window expecting to find my greenhouse gone, trees embedded in the car and the Athina B in my garden but no.....nothing....naff all. No rain,no damage, not even a slightly startled seagull. What a gip!
Having said all that....it is very windy here in BN3...
