Looks like its worth a journey, are the shops like fred perry and adidas similar to the ones in Gunwharf (outlet stores) or are they the newer lines at much higher prices.

Well my brother goes to university like 10 miles down the road, and i was up there yesterday, so i thought i'd pop along.

I have to say that the Nike, Adidas and Puma shops are very poor, but every other shops are great.
In response to your question no they are not outlet shops, and rather expensive, however there is some really nice gear in their!
Its all the proper nice Fred Perry, Lacoste clothes and shoes - but the prices do show this.

I've spent many an hour queueing up to deliver there in the last year or two. Thank goodness it's finished.

One bad thing about it is that, there is a certain section called 'the village' where they have all house of fraser, gucci and proper designer clothes sectioned of - so it seems like there seperating the upper class, and middle class. Also my girlfriend wanted to go in the Ugg shop, and you had to que up outside just to go in and look!

Also very easy to get to from Brighton due to the new Overground station right by the mall, meaning you can train it back straight from the mall in less than 1hr30 without having to tube it.

Aren't they scrapping the trains there though?

It's where the White City was.

Indeed they are in a month but I assume if you change at East Croydon it will still take less than an hour and a half.

The main thing is avoiding having to get on the tube at Victoria which isn't always a pleasant experience!

Yeh we needed a map aswell, and forgot were our parking space was, which werent clever because there is 4,500 spaces:lolol:

And Nando's was f***ing packed, but good:bowdown:

Well yeh nearer them, White City is the underground stop to get of at.

There are better options, although that's one.

The development is so big, two new stations have opened and one has been renamed.

I'll expain.

The first thing to remember are there are no longer two tube stations called Shepherd's Bush.

The Hammersmith and City (pink line) station has been renamed to Shepherds Bush Market although this will only show on recent maps.

Although this is nearish to the centre, there are three much better options.

1) The NEW Wood Lane tube station on the Hammersmith and City Line.

This sits right at the North West corner of Westfield.

2) The REDEVELOPED Shepherds Bush Underground station on the central line (one before White City)

This sits at the South East corner of Westfield, as does the....

3) The REDEVELOPED Shepherds Bush Mainline station, accessible from Clapham Junction or further down the line East Croydon.

The Shepherds Bush underground and mainline stations are part of the same complex.

( White City station is the NEXT STOP after Shepherds Bush on the central line. If for any reason they close Shepherds Bush, White City is fine. It's about a ten minute walk to the centre, since [if you are keeping up] it's about 100 yards from Wood Lane Station on the same side of the road )

Also forgot to mention, they have an awesome Apple shop, you can browse any iPod/iPhone/MacBook there, and they literally have every one, in every colour available!
