What the hell is that all about? Is it temporary whilst they have no staff or something else to piss fans off? We were told by the stewards that we had to go to the lower level bars, strangely the west lower was mobbed as a result so didn’t bother going in. Surely they wont be doing that in the winter? Will certainly mean less sales of alcohol and food post match.

Well there are plenty of other Concourses. Yes that’s your routine but plenty to in the lower tiers you will just have to get used to it. Lower east usually very quite if that’s more your vibe.

Yes, we will get used to it and go and join the train queue as soon as they kick us out.

It was noticeable the lack of snacks in the West Upper today - and the bottled soft drinks were warm.

East Upper. Arrived at 2:05 where queues were already the width of the concourse. 30 minutes got to the front only to see the place empty of food. Nothing. And yet still the queue went all the way back. Not happy. Also told by steward closing 30 mins after whistle.

Have you thought about taking these complaints up with the fans representatives who in turn can feed these various (not just yours) complaints.

It does surprise me after all these years that nobody has found a way of communicating to fans when items run out so they know BEFORE waiting for half an hour. It really shouldn’t be impossible with all the flashy electronic boards but, you know, a sheet of paper, roll of sellotape, and a marker pen would be enough to sort it.

Or maybe having enough pies and burgers to feed the 1000's who will attend a sellout match. No different to the 100's of games we've played at the Amex in the past few years. Game sells out, that's a full upper east, better get 200 pies in!

WSU service was useless, obviously a new set of staff with very little training. There was a kid pouring pints without angling the glass and messing every single one up. No sense of urgency 18 yr olds sauntering along totally oblivious to the queue. There doesn’t appear to be a team leader to organise things or speed them up. Needs new caterers or a big shake up. Is it really that hard to predict that there may be a rush at around 3.45, maybe have some prepoured pints ?

It’s always the same at the start of the season. No students yet so the caterers have to take what they can in terms of staff.

You’re bound to see WSL and North open later as both have self service beer dispensers that just need one person to check age and give a glass out.

NS had the worst ever queues and ran out of some food choices early on. Staff on the tills were sloth like.

New kids, with insufficient training?

It was apparent that loads of punters were shaking with the DT’s.
