Yawn.... This was entirely predictable, bloody rain in the West Indies. :lolol: No doubt they will come out and get 350 and we'll be skittled.

Well the 350 wouldn't surprise me, our bowling yesterday was an absolute shambles, probably a reflection on how bad the West Indies are that we managed to get 5 wickets - With the exception of Braithwaite, they were all out to pretty poor shots. Anderson bowled well, I think Stokes has something, the rest of them will get caned in the summer.

Can't see Starc or Johnson having such problems prising out the tail as England, 40 or so runs too many conceded.

Basically - Yes.

I'd be looking to bat all day with gradual acceleration.

Get 50-100 up at the end of the day and go for it on 4th morning and get 150-200 ahead. That leaves 5 sessions to attack.

That or declare at end of Today and go at them 1st thing.

Trott 50 :clap2: Pleased for him.

Seems a bloody long time since both England openers have made a 50

Who is the lucky bugger with the Brighton UJ straight behind the bowlers arm to the right of a whole lot of St Georges?

I watched the final session last night, and the England band played 'Sussex by the Sea'. Lovely to hear.
