I’d get Ayari and Minteh on if we get 15 minutes more of this

When both him and Rutter want to drop and recieve the ball to feet in the pockets it’s so easy for West Ham’s back line just to step up 10 yards and make it more compact which forces us backwards. They’re also easier to pick up because the defenders don’t have to debate staying with one to mark the other as they’re both in the same space. Honestly I’d bring Ferguson on as a focal point
I would too but I’d keep Pedro on

For me, we’ve done alright.

Bowen’s been their only threat so far, we’ve managed to compress the pitch into the third nearest their goal a couple of times, and we’ve been unlucky with Pervis’s slip and Joao’s decision making. Gruda looks a talent to me.

We’re not going to dominate every match from start to finish, we’ve given as good as we’ve got, all to play for.

Yes, if we were playing for a draw.☹️

Unfortunately I have a feeling as the game progresses that WHU will just sit deeper and deeper and our chances of taking 3 points will face the law of diminishing returns.

We need an early goal in this half.

There's no point bringing Ferguson on, we don't play to his strengths, which makes him look worse than he really is.
