This must be some deep rooted psychological issue. We all know we need a striker but West Ham’s highest league goalscorer is Antonio on 6 which isn’t a massive amount, but they look like anyone in their team is capable of scoring. I can’t say the same for us sadly.

Not sure if this is a coaching issue or something a bit more deep seated.

Too soon to think about getting rid of Adam L? If he can’t score sitters or even hit the target on so many occasions then is he costing us games where others that might replace can do his day job AND can finish. Or are we expecting too much that a Brighton central midfielder actually scores goals too? Propper, Stephens, Bis, Lama…our paucity from central mid since arriving in PL is really bad.

Yes I think so. Goals not why he was signed but to give dressing room experience to a young-ish team. Mac Allister should be on now in his place as he can score but Potter spunked his subs on replacing Veltman
