If Joe Cole, Carrick, Defoe, Sinclair and James are all pre-season training with West Ham I think it puts into perspective Bobby's alleged insistence that he will only join a Premiership team.
Clearly, Bobby and his agent could not have foreseen that the market would be as flat as it is.
On the West Ham money front I would have thought a bid of £1.5 million for a local boy who's already scored 13/14 goals in Div 1 would be enough to secure Bobby and probably help them back into the Premiership at the first attempt, and that should then help to ease their financial woes.
A Premiership spot is there for the taking, all the Hammers need is a goalscorer like Bobby.
We won't let him go for less than £2.5M methinks, and there's nothing that Sir Bobby can do about it... and, as others say, the Hammers are fcuked financially...
