Perhaps one of the few teams we could do the double over this season?

Swansea are the only other side we could beat twice, I believe?

- Carroll out for season
- lanzini min 5 weeks
- Arnie min 3 weeks

All out for our game, finally some good news.

as we saw on Saturday.... a few injuries to established Prem sides means little

Whilst Marshy has a very valid point, Arnautovic and Lanzini are by some distance, West Ham's best two players.

Morata out, didn't matter, because Hazard was able to destroy us on his own. Lanzini IS their Hazard.

You’re comparing west ham to Chelsea?

West ham don’t have any other number 10 in their squad, and Arnie is the only player scoring goals for them.

Swansea will stay up. They got out of a bigger hole last year and have momentum of a new manager now.

The two players that we didn't want playing, Hazard and Willian, both played on Saturday. That's the difference. But if those three Hammers are injured it cannot be anything but good for us.

From what I saw on Saturday - those two 'are' West Ham. Once Lanzini went off they tapered off quite badly.

Despite the normal London centric media reports that we 'were there for the taking' (perhaps for the first 20 mins) I'm still a bit miffed we didn't beat them.

We beat West Ham 3-0 with those two in the team, so we don't have anything to fear. I hope we go for it.

Shouldn't be looking to pin our hopes on PL survival on other teams injuries. We should be better than that.

In addition, Mr Exile......

The thought or Mr Carroll attacking a West Ham corner against us and being left unmarked (or even marked) somewhere in the penalty area and heading the ball home (every time) fills me with unspeakable dread and fear. Luckily, we won’t be seeing that scenario this season.
