West Ham fans won't put up with his buzz words for long if they don't start seeing results. He'll have to dig out his tin hat which has hopefully be reinforced. Some people on here think we have some entitled fans, get yourself down to the London Stadium. Jeez, has anyone ever met a happy Hammer?
No you're wrong. When he got the job Potter said they were great fans. And knowledgeable too.

Questions being asked already about Potter's ability, picked up on an article by Tony Cascarino in today's Times. Also mentions a bright start for EF.

Done a Frexit, now in London
The knuckle draggers are getting restless already, it's lovely to see

"Roberto De Zerbi’s exploits and the early efforts of Fabian Hürzeler aren’t making Potter’s achievements on the south coast age all that spectacularly. Since then we have his catastrophic short spell with Chelsea, a long time out of the game, and now a small sample size of six games at West Ham United to examine.

Is that the sort of CV that should be earning him links to the England and Manchester United jobs as he once was? I’m not so sure"

Go get a brew and a 12ft ladder and give this a read.

"The atmosphere at the London Stadium on Saturday before the Brentford game, in the ground and around the pubs and bars of Westfield, was incredible. The place was absolutely bouncing.

And then the game kicked off and it was dead. It was like the life had been sucked out of the place and Potter’s style has a lot to do with that"

I dont want Potter to fail per se. I also don't dislike West ham that much (baroness brady I totally detest though)

What i do dislike is the idea that when we said that

'Potter is a slow burn',

'that play will seem slow and tedious'

'that it's a long term project',

'that he was given more chances at brighton than he will anywhere else',

'that it will come right eventually but not immediately',

we were belittled for saying it.

Lots of so called experts, other club fans (chelsea and now West ham) and some transient people on here were saying we were wrong for thinking that and we needed to ignore the evidence of our eyes and acknowledge the data

That what we see now and what we saw at chelsea bears that out will more likely be peoples' points rather than wanting him to fail

Had he stayed and, like RDZ did, managed to take the club to Europa League he might still be around and had a go for another EL winter. A call from the FA might have changed things. Who knows?
I genuinely believe that had he stayed at Brighton instead of going to Chelsea he'd now be England manager

Very possible- question is for how long though as can't see England or our media giving him the time he needed
