Really tricky for Big Sam today. If he sets them out to nick a win they probably will, but any ambition will play straight in to our hands.

Normal match thread rules apply today obvs: Go goal down/lose = we are sh*t/going down/potter out .... Score first/win = we are safe/always said Potter was the messiah .... draw = as you were.

I expect them to park the bus. Roy showed them the way on Monday. In fact, I expect all teams around us now to just make it frustrating and nick one on the break. We just have to take one of our umpteen chances. Easier said than done.

After investing so much in the failure on Monday I'm calm about this one. Hopefully we will do it - but, let's face it - a draw is probably the most likely result.

Hmmm I'm not fully convinced. I can see brom sitting back first half. But I have the Burnley game fresh in the mind where they absolutely ragged us second half...without Webster I reckon our defence might be pretty shaky Vs a physical team coming at us.

Yep.
Earlier in the season you park the bus and take a point, 3 is a bonus. Now they have very little option but to go for the win. They probably need to win at least half of their remaining games to even stand a chance.
The other teams around us will definitely 'do a Palace' but I think WBA have no other option but to show at least some intent.
(I'm desperately hoping so anyway).

Ive not been on NSC since Monday night, so apologies if I missed it.....but is there a problem with Karbo? He looked great when he played....surprised hes not on bench unless of course injured?

Played for U23 yesterday. Obviously not seen as good and/or match fit enough yet.

Can't wait to have 73% possession, take 23 shots on goal and lose 1-0 to a spawny deflected set-piece routine

It does feel like that at the moment doesn’t it.

Big Sam really bigging us up. “No doubts about it Brighton are an exceptionally good team”.

Don't know. I'd rather have seen Welbeck starting with Connolly personally. Welbeck's skill and experience to help Connolly, Connolly's young legs to do the running for Welbeck.
Welbeck is weak pulls out of shots and challenges hope he never plays again for us. And only he knows why he didn’t take the yellow to stop the Palace attack, pathetic.
