If any manager put pressure on the board he wouldn’t last long in my opinion. Or are you suggesting a Redknapp style demands / transfer policy ?

Potter doesn't need to put any pressure on anyone. He has a 5 year contract that probably pays him the same whatever division we are in. It doesn't matter to him who signs and who doesn't he can just sit back and count his money!

From the BBC website sums up our managers lack of passion

VAR then intervened, prompting Mason to run over to the pitchside monitor to review a potential offside and also whether his second whistle had come before the ball had crossed the goalline.

The referee tried to communicate what was going on with the two managers. Sam Allardyce looked confused - the West Brom boss standing with his hands on his head in disbelief - while Brighton's Graham Potter responded with a blank expression.

It’s his poker face. No one knows what is going on behind the facade.

Never mind the lack of passion. the bare facts are that mason is ****ing useless and Hooper is a complete ****.

I understand this but how come West Brom, Fulham and Palce have all signed strikers who in turn have scored goals for them.

Probably as we played our hand early with Welbeck

Brighton's Lewis Dunk on the disallowed goal, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's embarrassing, it's a horrendous decision, I said to the ref can I take it, he blew his whistle and I took it. Just because there was so much pressure from the bench. Why doesn't he come and speak to the press like me? Never, they hide behind their bubble.

"I don't think he knew what he was doing. He gave the goal, why did he give it? I don't know why VAR was getting involved, he said 'goal'... you can look on the video if you want.

Had he lost control of the game? "Yeah he did. Fact."

Top interview. Refreshing when players actually say something instead of talking around the subject. And when he was asked what was going wrong, and what the answer was - he said something like 'if I knew it would be easy wouldn't it!'.

I

Murray would be well into double figures now even at his age

I feel confident he would have got the Veltman header on target at the very least and equally confident he would have scored the Connerly rebound chance all it wanted was a delicate little nudge and not the hit it so hard to try and take the net out that it had

Watching Murray last night I’m not sure his fitness levels would have him in those positions..

Absolute shit performances from Connolly and Welbeck. Some of you ppl here love to talk about how Ali JB isn’t prem quality and yet these two guys have missed more sitters than anyone I’ve ever seen. Neither deserve to be competing in the prem at this stage in their careers....cost Albion more points than anyone in recent history

The contract 100% will have a break clause. I know someone who worked at the LMA and said that is the case in almost all cases. Same with Pardew long contract at Newcastle

Have you seen posts here lately? Connolly and Welbeck are getting pretty slated. Maupay too.

And how much is relegation going to cost? A lot more than a striker.

More than likely but I assume a gamble the club were prepared to take

Bringing Moder on instead of Zeqiri, Tau or even AJ, what was that about? If he doesn’t have confidence in their ability to affect a game then why put them on bench?
Moder looked decent but we didn’t need another central midfielder on in that situation imho.

Whats your final prediction

Incidence of new threads declines as time passes post final whistle - first 30 mins after final whistle accounts for most of them
We’re probably almost there now but as the Satdi night drinking kicks in a few more random threads are likely
Then one or two of the usual suspects will put another thread up very late tonight or early tomorrow morning, either pissed or hungover
