Call that a snowball fight? Who was at the old Leeds Road Huddersfield ground when Albion fans chucked a snowball at the Huddersfield player taking a corner? Albion team at the time was Chapman and a certain Steve Foster who was at his second spell with the club. It ended up with a snowball fight between Albion/Uddersfield fans as we were kept in whilst the Hundersfield fans walked out via the unused terrace behind the goal. Leeds Road Hudersfield, what a great ground that was, in its day held 50,000 and it was just a million times better than the new one.
At Brentford-Tranmere today there was some top quality lower league terrace banter, the game was running fifteen minutes behind, due to it being stopped several times becasuse the Brentford fans were pelting the Tranmere keeper with snowballs. Every time the ref stopped the game they stopped throwing them, then he blew the whistle and it started all over again.
