Call that a snowball fight? Who was at the old Leeds Road Huddersfield ground when Albion fans chucked a snowball at the Huddersfield player taking a corner? Albion team at the time was Chapman and a certain Steve Foster who was at his second spell with the club. It ended up with a snowball fight between Albion/Uddersfield fans as we were kept in whilst the Hundersfield fans walked out via the unused terrace behind the goal. Leeds Road Hudersfield, what a great ground that was, in its day held 50,000 and it was just a million times better than the new one.

At Brentford-Tranmere today there was some top quality lower league terrace banter, the game was running fifteen minutes behind, due to it being stopped several times becasuse the Brentford fans were pelting the Tranmere keeper with snowballs. Every time the ref stopped the game they stopped throwing them, then he blew the whistle and it started all over again. :lolol:

Quality. Almost wants us to be back lower league. Problem with Premier league is they take it all far too seriously. No doubt the mortal indignation will be unbearable on match of the day when taking about the west brom game.

I was also at that game...it was quality.

My first ever game was at Leeds road, town vs Newcastle. I was 6 and I have never been so cold as I was that day. It was 48 years ago and I still remember it now.

My late dad remembered the Charlton gamr where it finished 6-4 with hudds being 4-0 up ...he always said that was the best game he ever saw.

Loved the old Leeds road, but equally I really like the galparm, although I still prefer the name mcalpine..
