I'm not normally one for posting tips or rumours, but last week I got told that Chris Hughton was wanted by West Brom and he was going to join them even if Birmingham got promoted (because of their finances are piss poor and will have to sell players).
Now the papers seem to be looking at him as the main man also, so before odds start going down a lot, my punt would be to put a few quid on him just like the Roy Hodgson rumour for England last week.

(Just to point out they are speaking to Claudio Ranieri, but I dont think anything will come from it.)

You mean don't think 'anything' will come of it ;o not being a grammar nazi, but what you have written seems to imply something could come of it! Anyway, I am going to lay a bet down and see what happens.

Might have missed the boat with Hughton, he's already odds on in most places (5/4 at Hills)

I like Hughton as a manager. West Brom will do well to get him. And of course it means one less club for Gus to be linked with.

Most of the online bookies have it as follows:

Next West Brom Manager Betting

3/1 Chris Hughton
11/2 Roberto Martinez
13/2 Derek McInnes
8/1 Paul Lambert
8/1 Steve Bruce
8/1 Michael Appleton
10/1 Gus Poyet
12/1 Alan Curbishley
12/1 Brendan Rodgers
14/1 Lee Clark
14/1 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
14/1 Dave Jones
16/1 Glenn Hoddle
20/1 BAR

With even Appleton ahead of our Gus why is anyone at all worried!!!

I feel sorry for BAR, he gets in the betting for every job going and never gets any of them. Could he do a job here if Gus goes?

I knew I should of posted this last week when it was better odds, but I didnt want look an idiot like the rest of the people who post rumours!

But Ranieri odds seems to be dropping so Hughton seems to be the one whos going to get it.
