He is stupid though.
He probably is, yes.
But in itself, spunking £2.5m of somebody else's money, isn't stupid to him.
If it pays off, it embellishes his CV and confirms his hefty survival bonus.
If not then somebody else loses a tonne of cash

Dancing Alan don't care. Tart will just move on to the next mug club.
Yes I completely agree. I just hate the moron. He probably is, yes.

Or back next to Henry and Souness on SUPER Sunday
Unbelievable, I didn't realised he had done that. Henry and Souness played at the highest level, played at world cups and won a stack of major club honours. Personally I like their honest and cutting insight.
What can the specialist in losing club matches, Pardew, offer?
Although he is a complete tool, at least I understand what he does unlike Graham Kelly getting £2 million a year, now that really tops it in my book
Dancing lessons
Looks like they need top 6 form in their last 11 matches now 20 points from 11 games, as Pardew would say on SKY that's a BIG ask
The Sturridge deal is a gamble, reports are his loan fee was 2.5 Million, his is being paid 200K a week by WB. I make that about 5 million, if he doesn't keep you up it is lost money.
Were they behind this deal that may look bad if he is out injured long term.
I think you need to take those figures with a pinch of salt. Apparently he is on £120k at Liverpool and I would imagine that WBA would not have paid him more than that. It's a massive gamble but not a £5 million gamble.
I reckon dancing Al will be out the door soon enough as well.
Surely Brighton fans want him to stay in his job as long as possible though?
I think actually once, when asked about whether he favoured either team in a match, he pointed out the palace socks he was wearing.Unbelievable, I didn't realise he had done that. Quality punditry. NOT.
West Brom have problems with FFP. I've read that their wage bill is huge and they've struggled to make permanent signings because of it. Think transfers have been mismanaged over a few seasons to get them where they are now.
