Potter does get angry sometimes. Like McBurnie said after some game in 2018:

He even sacked their then best player (Ryan Gilligan) the day before a game in 2013 because he tried to shag the wife of one of his teammates.

Fair enough.
Unfortunately, many quality players are dickheads.
I agree with you, part of being a good manager is managing them.
In Andone’s case, there’s an argument that his talent was outweighed by his dickheadness. In those cases, it’s fair enough to get rid.

I think the policy means well. I can completely understand the club wanting to avoid the Adebayor's and Barton's of the world, if there's toxicity in the dressing room then, for a club like us, relegation becomes inevitable.

I just think it needs tempered a bit. I think the problem with this policy being too extreme is that the players signed end up needing man-managed just as much as the 'dickhead' ones. No slight against the current group.of lads, they all seem like very decent people, but signing some players with a bit more individuality, a bit more swagger, would improve us exponentially. It would mean that Potter can have a team that expresses themselves a bit more, and that may breed more confidence in some of the other guys.
