We're the East, North, West Stand boys 3 way chant

Love the suggestion, was amazing on Saturday when the East started (apart from the goal).

When I came in from work tonight my 4 year old son greeted me with an excited chorus of "We're the West, We're the West, We're the West Stand Brighton Voice!" (10 out of 10 for effort..)... we then had to take it in turns standing on different sofas and having a sing-off between "the West", "the North" and "the East"...

he is so up for this I'm happy for it to be done as many times as anyone likes on Saturday

(he also told me tonight that his nursery school teacher said there should be 4 parts to the song - so I had to explain to him about the away fans being in the South Stand... sorry for the post but any Dads/Mums will understand my delight in all this - it only seems 5 minutes ago that Peppa Pig was the extent of his interest in anything beyond milk and biscuits...)

cheers GM and well done with your effort on this - when we get this working i'm fairly sure it will be both unique to The AMEX (until copied...!) and very, very good...

the two potential teething problems will be 1) that the East are slow on the uptake and an "Aaaal-bi-on" chant comes back, and/or 2) that the North reply to the West and mess the 3 way bit up before it gets going... but no reason why these shouldn't get ironed out with a little practice

My 4 year old sons favorite song at the moment is sussex by the sea He still loves peppa pig as well

As long as the 3 way chant bit is clear I for 1 will be responding with we're the east stand.

Not sure this has been asked but how many circuits we doing before the 'we are brighton'.
If we could get the transition right this is gonna be awesome

I'm in the East Stand and have been trying to get the crowd singing this, even to the extent against Blackpool, I was standing up on my own singing "I'm the East Stand" as nobody else joined in! Anyway, Blackpool and Sunderland games many more joined in at times, so starting to get good.

I'm well up for "we are Brighton" at the end but I think it will be very difficult to coordinate. I think we have to stick to a number, say 3 x " we are the X stand" each and then everyone "we are Brighton". Adding this at the end would be absolutely awesome.

The East have been slow to get going but I'm sure this could really fly... the Family Stand will definitely love it.

(the only problem is "The East Stand Jinx"... )

Ok given we are all going to give this a go on Saturday, we will start with "East Stand, East Stand 3 way chant, East Stand 3 way chant" Hopefully the East stand will not sing AAAAALLLbion.

As everyone likes to SING "we're the xxxxx Stand, we're the xxxxx Stand, we're the xxxxx Stand Brighton Boys" It needs to be done at least 5 times, as it each time more people join in, after 5 times it starts to reduce. Therefore lets agree all 3 stands do it 5 times, so it will finish with the WEST STAND, and we then all go straight into WE ARE BRIGHTON.

Make sure all the kids join in, they will want to keep coming more, even when we are in the Premiership!

While I agree more people join in the longer it goes on.
Bearing in mind it's 3 stands singing, I think 15 verses might be a little too much.

Three times is enough, I think. I also agree that those of us in the North probably need to sing the East Stand three way chant bit to start it off.

Lets go with Bob's Idea.

I think if you let it die down before you sing "we are Brighton" then it will mess up as people might hear it at different levels and start singing "we are brighton" at the same time as the East/North West Stand etc. It will be harder to do. I think 3 Times Each. 3 times will be well easy to follow and even if it does die doen at some point it can carry on..

The North Will really have to push this one especially to get it going. NSK keep trying it on Saturday!!!!
Also the North will have to keep count on when the last chant comes from the West to Start "We Are Brighton From the South".

So 3 Times Each and then a Massive "we are Brighton"

The more you drill it in, the more it will work and Sound Fantastic.


....also change "boys" to "voice"?? Might sound better, get the girls involved to, we want as many as possible in on this.
