Um. We got a point from a tricky away game. That guarantees relegation?

Room for improvement for sure. And we are improving. Alternatively let's panic and get in ... who?

Some perspective please!

Whilst agreeing that todays result was unexpected, and considering we had ten men for the second half its was a great result, but our position in the league is a matter of concern as we must be out of this division before Falmer is completed otherwise our present gates will lead to the club going into administration.

What utter shite. Do you have ANY evidence to support this claim?

As you obviously can't count |I'll point out to you that we got 7 points from 4 games in September. That is not relegation form. Or do you think we have to win EVERY game?

The team currently in 8th place are a MASSIVE 3 points ahead of us.

You have to be one of the most negative posters on here-I have never seen you say anything remotely positive about The Albion. Maybe you should do yourself a favour and follow another club.

I must admit that I didnt expect Slade to still be manager on my birthday, which is next weekend, but if and I know its a big IF we had beaten Huddersfield 1 - 0 we would be above them and in the play off spot. So all is not lost just yet and with Murray coming back who knows what can happen.

I really dont believe championship football is a must for our first season at falmer. Mk dons managed an average home gate of over 10,000 last season so i'm sure we could at the absolute very least match that figure. Should we get promoted this season, which i feel is a little unlikely the most likely outcome in falmer year one would be us licking our wounds due to relegation which would possibly be more detrimental to crowd figures.
Falmer will without doubt bring much higher crowds but success wont come overnight, personally i'm excited by the next 5 years and am confident we can be a force in the championship by then but there are no guarantees.
As for your statement regarding admin i'm not sure there is any evidence to back that up.

Did anyone really see us being in this position after all the money that was spent in the summer and the positive way in which we ended last season? I for one didn't and unless our home form improves, and does so soon, it looks as if it's going to be another hard year where survival is our main aim. What a depressing thought, even after only 9 games.

Let's hope Slade turns it round soon although the signs are not encouraging.

:(

Marathon, not a sprint. The signs ARE encouraging, since we just went ahead against a top side at their drum, and although we ought to have taken all three points but for the ref.

That is progress, and I don't think we are going to struggle.

There are two principal reasons for us being where we are:
1. Too many red cards. Shows a major lack of discipline and needs to be dealt with immediately. How many other teams have four reds at this stage of the season?
2. Slade's refusal to start Dicker at the start of the season.

No one else is even close on reds and yellows: BHA 4 and 17, respectively. The next hardest lot is MK Dons, at 1 and 24.

The yellows don't bother me per se -- if you play hard, you'll accumulate a certain number of them, and if you plan your roster, there's adequate cover for the eventual bans after five of them.

Reds are a different matter -- I'm not sure which is worse, the straight red for essentially playing like an idiot, or being sent off for a second yellow, having not had the mother wit to throttle it back a bit after the first yellow.

Let's be honest this present lot aren't the brightest bunch - buffoons!

did not go to the game so cant really comment but dosnt matter who you play,if you sneak a point with ten men away then the team as a whole cant be that bad and apart from the top 2 this league is wide open and its far to early to be writing ourselves off.
