I genuinely used to think that a smear test just involved the woman wiping her minky with a cloth, and the resulting smear being analysed. I was quite shocked when I heard how INVOLVED it was.

:dunce:

I bloody wish it was like you thought :lolol:

Why is there no regular equivalent for men, that's what I want to know? Surely there must be SOMETHING that we can detect/prevent by probing your most intimate areas? :p

Don't Mention The War
I will always remember Wendy for the braless shot in Carry on Camping and the smashing of Arthur head in with a frying pan stunt on Eastenders. RIP Wendy a very sad loss, now Jade that is dieing with dignity not your over the top publicity stunts every bloody day on papers and what not!

The most common problem areas for men are prostate and testicles.
The prostate can be examined with a ( gloved ) finger up the rectum and the testicles can usually be self-examined.
I have personally experienced a camera up the urethra of my penis to examine a bladder problem and I came out walking like John Wayne ! ( talk about eye-watering ! )

Yes, yes it was.

I think Kev got muddled by Babs appearing in EastEnders as well.

Me thinks the young lad is very confused as well.

RIP Wendy, always a bit of a sort in Dads Army as well.

here hare here
Very sad news. RIP.

But seriously guys, I don't think this is the right thread to be arguing about cancer stories, or having a pop at Jade Goody.

there's never a wrong time to have a pop at goody. have to get in as many pops as possible in the short time she has left.

as a wee lad, Miss Brahms gave me a tingly feeling in my downstairs that i could neither quite explain nor discuss with anyone. confusing yet strangely exciting times.

nOT THE CASE,

Unless you take a smear test many praCtices will refuse to keep you on their books,

Ms LC has had to change practices on two occasions. AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED THAT IS COMPULSION AND NOT OPTIONAL.

Why has she had to change practices ?

Why has she had to change practices ?

For some reason Ms LC doesn't want to do a test.

For failing to undertake the test, the first Practice removed her from their books, and during the registration of hte second pratice
she was asked about the test, with the result she wasn't signed on.

As it happens the first practice is a disgrace, the service is appalling, it is really unkept, toilets have no soap, often no paper in the loos, you have to go to reception to get sheets.

I think your last sentence explains why Mrs LC won't take the test, I don't blame her
