Showing a bit of tour round now. It looks more like a bloody shopping centre rather than a football stadium!

Norman Whiteside on BBC now. ****!

I was lucky enough to see Whiteside make his league debut as a sub for Man Utd when they played us at the Goldstone in the old Div One back in the early 80s. Even though he was 16 years old he must have been the biggest player on the pitch.
Shame his career was cut short by a knee injury.

Got his just deserts as far as I'm concerned. Live by the sword - die by the sword.

A mate of mine has managed to get himself a ticket for the Cup Final (£400 - but he is minted). He is WELL impressed with the new Wembley - his first impression was - IT'S f***ing ENORMOUS. Plenty of legroom, excellent view from any vantage point etc etc.

Sounds like it's worth going up there for a game - even as a neutral for one of the Play-Off Finals.

There is plenty of leg room and it is GIGANTIC. I went for the U21s - bit of a muted atmosphere due to low attendance and lots of 'new fans'. I can imagine that it is great atmosphere with something at stake.
