I’m on 374. And my close group of 6 all on similar. And none of us live within 50 miles of Brighty. Some 60 miles, us 125 miles, and some 325+ miles. I’m sure everyone will get something, and will give it their all.

Just been looking at my pics from 2019 there appear to be quite a few empty seats in our end and the 2nd tier was practically empty other than the bit allocated to Brighton fans.

Man City didn’t take up much of their allocation. They’re so used to going to Wembley, many of them didn’t bother with a mere semi final.

The attendance for our game was 71,521.

On the previous day, Wolves v Watford had 80,092.

Last year Chelsea v Palace was 76,238 and Man City v Liverpool had 73,793.

In summary, there seems to be a lot of empty seats for most FA Cup semi-finals!

I think demand for this one is very difficult to call. 2019 was our first Wembley visit in a generation, so you'd think anyone who could go, would have done.

This time there's the possibility of...

- "I did it in 2019, I'll wait to see if we make it to the final this time."
- Cost of living squeeze making it an expensive day that some may not be able to afford or justify.

On the other hand, the club is flying high, has a far better chance of victory than last time and has attracted a number of new fans who would like to see us at Wembley.
Demand will be swallowed up by our ever increasing Japanese following. They all seem to be paid up Albion + member

I’m genuinely shocked by that. It gives a lot more credence to the ‘shouldn’t be at Wembley’ argument.

Why would we only get a 34,000 allocation if there are going to be 15,000 empty seats?

Because the unused seats are mostly in CW - not so much the single seat holders but more likely the utter prawn sandwich corporate box brigade.

The premium middle tier seats on offer to the great unwashed for the semis disappear for the final hence reduction in allocation and easier to shift corporate mincery.

Regarding 2019 I’d imagine Pep’s Citeh v Hughton’s dour underdogs was never going to be a big seller to the neutrals but this time I’d assume it’s very different. Success starved United Surrey loyalists v De Zerbi’s progressive dare say ‘cool’ upstarts will certainly pique interest in the neutrals!

Indeed, and yet Wolves, Watford and Albion all filled their allocations that year. Man City didn't but there were mitigating circumstances in that the Cup semi was only their third biggest game that week! (They had a massive league game and a UCL semi as I recall)

The empty seats for these games are largely the middle tier Club Wembley seats. That's where we were for the last semi, and it was soul-destroying seeing so many empty seats around us.

Had they built the new national stadium in Coventry or the outskirts of Birmingham (for less than half the cost) rather than listening to that idiot Ken Bates, none of this would have been an issue.

I think what’s pissing people off the most is not knowing which day the game will be on.

Maybe it has been announced already, but at time of writing, I don’t know and I’m fed up with pressing the refresh button.

Why the FA can’t just tell the Manc clubs when they are playing and be done with it, I don’t know. Let’s hope after all this that both Manc clubs lose.

I agree. It's almost like the semi-finals re an inconvenience for them and the world has to revolve around their other commitments. I see no reason why Sunday at 4.30 is not ok when that is the most obvious time and date for our fixture. If it is the TV companies both rowing over who gets to show what, that is their problem not ours. I know with several weeks to go this is all moot, but the impatience is real, we want our tickets!
