I know that there are a few options to get there, whether by tube or train, but was wondering from those that have been to Wembley, what is the best option. Not too bothered about the journey to, more the journey home, as i need to get Jr home as quickly as is possible after Wednesday's game as he has school the following day.

Any help will be appreciated.

Having been to the Brazil game, then if I we're in your situation I'd leave a few minutes before the full time whistle, to get a five or so minute head start on the masses, and head to Wembley Park tube station. You may get caught up in a crowd with the same idea as you, but believe me this is nothing compared to how hectic it can get after a game when everyone is heading that way. The Met. Police use horses to ease crowd congestion, and leaving at the full time whistle to get to WP can easilly take a good half an hour at least, as they try and force everyone walking up Wembley Way into the tube station.

Heading there though and leaving a few mins before the full time whistle is definately your quickest way out of the area.

Nice that they spent £750 million or so on a new stadium and nothing on Wembley Way!

On saturday we drove out to Harrow on the hill, parked for free, £4-60 tue return. Not many people going in or out on the metropolitan line.

Had a lovely curry at Papa J's Indian tapas restaurant in Harrow and drove home. Home at 1030 and a great day was had by all.

Yeah they have even taken the Wembley way toilets away so you have to get to the stadium for a slash which was uncomfortable
