Wembley Arena is served by the Metropolitan Line. As I see it I'd have to use that all the way in to Kings Cross and then jump on the Northern Line out to Kentish Town and I just can't be ARSED with all that as I'm a lazy f***.

Its as easy as catching a cab anywhere in London when 5000 people pour out of an event at the same time....:(

Either leave early and get one simple, or catch the tube...

Besides you must be loaded if you want to go across London on a friday night in a cab!!

Not half as much as taking a taxi.

Metropolitan Line from Wembley Park to Kings Cross St Pancras at 23.06 then Northern Line to Kentish Town at 23.31, arriving 23.38. Peasy. You'll be there in 32 minutes.

OR

Jubilee Line from Wembley Park to West Hampstead at 23.20, arrive 23.30. Walk to West Hampstead Thameslink, then take the Thameslink to Kentish Town at 23.42, arrive 23.46. 26 minutes.

You obviously haven't been on the Northern Line recently!!!

Anymore for anymore?

Gig wends at 10:30, need to be in Kentish Town for 11:30 at the very latest. Is the TUBE definitely the best option?

They say tube then bus. PAIN.

Would the quickest tube be changing at Kings Cross?

If I see a cab I'm getting it.

Thats always my plan, charge out of the gig and take first taxi, if none are there head towards tube with eyes peeled for taxi, if no taxis by the time your at the tube, then tube it is!!

The key is to KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED. Lucily I'l be with a SHOUTY BIRD so we'll probably get a CAB.

After Bruce Springsteen a couple of Saturdays ago there were loads and loads of taxis waiting outside (not sure if they had been booked). We walked back to the tube station and the access to it is much improved, there were no queues and we got on a train about 5 minutes after getting on to the platform.

The metropolitan line is much much much quicker than the jubilee line.

The new Wembley stadium looks stunning.

it's one thing getting a taxi...getting through the traffic is something else. Wembley is rammed after gigs. Tube is best bet by a long chalk.

What was The Boss like? Saw him back in the day at the stadium and have been revisiting his albums of late.
