A bit like watching Brighton 2 years ago but good luck to them. They deserved the draw. If we had played that Arsenal side instead of the skilled hoofers from the potteries we might have done as well if not better. But, good luck to you Tiny, Russell, Whingy and Revell, make the Arse work hard at the Emirates.

Yep, well done Orient and their long suffering fans.

I don't get all this orient hating now. so we were big rivals for a few years in the basement and they tend to give us a good game. I have the upmost respect for those fans who stick with the O's when there's so much prem on their doorstep. OK, there should be more of them but that's not the fault of the orient fans.

Good luck to them and especially those with Albion connections.

So bloody happy for Slade. It can't be forgotten what he did here, and the fact that some of our best players this season were his signings.

They also tended to really laud it over us when our going got tough, as if we were the big-boys who deserved humiliating.
It went for several matches between us, including of course the famous pitch-invaded one where their players thought it necessary to goad our support like no-one could imagine would be done by any professional depending on the survival of clubs for their own life's bread.
Even palace had been a bit subdued about our demise and misfortunes, many realising they liked having a rivalry with us.

After having distinct advantages over The Albion and taking the piss for a few seasons, we had success with Adams' management and started to beat them.
So - why not give it large now? Maybe because they have a respected ex-Albion manager and have got some of our also-respected players - and unless they did a Nathan Jones on us they won't get so bad a reception ......if we play them ever again.

I also really hope Orient (and Bournemouth) get promoted behind us. Firstly, what a kick up the arse that would be for billy-big-bollocks Southampton, Huddersfield and Peterboro (would have said Wednesday, but well...... :lolol: ) Secondly, Orient getting promoted would be such a statement for all those planning to head along to watch WHU when they move into the Olympic Stadium. As previously mentioned, Orient fans deserve a lot of praise, as they could to watch any London-based Prem club and choose style over substance. If they were to be a Championship club when the saga comes around, hopefully the floating fans would stay put. On the manager, Slade was ultimately not capable of taking us to where Bloom wanted us to go, but I will never forget what he did for this club. Whing, Cox and Revell were good pros as well.
