Did he? Gus sold Crofts for 300k, and bought Greer for 250k. Apart from that he hasn't bought or sold anyone for serious money. I'm pretty sure Gus has made money from his transactions. Adams made countless loan signings.

As an aside I fear for Peter Taylor at Bradford as they were fancied to go up. I think he may get the sack next week.

because he had failed at leicester and coventry beforehand and bought in utter utter shite (jarrett, birchall, davies, hawkins, virgo, mcleod)

think he knew going to port vale that he was in last chance saloon in terms of management jobs, and he seems to be rising to the challenge rather well. i still think that port vale will only make the play offs though, its very early days yet

He started to turn them around last season. Infact it reads exactly like his first spell at BHAFC at the moment. A damn good manager at division 4.
