Well done Huddersfield fully deserved over the course of the match

Well done indeed though did they actually score a single goal in the 3 play off games? An OG and pens.

Agree. They tore us apart at their place. Some of the best football I've seen played against us.

Fully deserved on the balance of play today.

Was hoping Reading went up so we had an easier season next year but Huddlesfield probably deserved it on the day.

Reading are a dull side, and very fortunately stifled the life out of a good Fulham side. Over the season Huddersfield deserved it, they finished poorly but at one stage looked like a possible top two finish.

Yep Huddersfield chairman local man as well. Pleased for them. Hopefully their fans won't go in to billy big balls mode like other Yorkshire clubs.

Would have thought Reading would have been stronger in the PL - don't they have rich owners?

When was last time two newbies to PL were promoted in same season?

2007/8 with Hull and Stoke. I doubt this'll be the last time it'll happen as there are still plenty of teams that have never been in the PL that do have the potential to go up (PNE and Brentford for example), but it could be an even longer gap than this one.

Huddersfield will have to rebuild their team, as they had so many loans.

All 5 of their loanees played today so not only have we had six weeks longer preparation time than they have, they also have to potentially buy 5 starting lineup players on top of those who may not be good enough for the PL

Yes, and there's no guarantee they'll have any loanee returning.
