Barber said we have the same budget as last season..

So far only bits and pieces spent on wages (Andrews, Agustein, Ward) replacing Hammond, Painter, Vicente, Bridge, Dicker.

Yes Bloom has done well to tell Palace to do one, but I'm hoping for a opulent of good quality loans in the next two weeks.

Those 'bits and pieces' for 3 men on Premier League wages will add up. Doubt they're discounted to anything like the same proportion as Bridge. And that means there's still money in the budget for another quality loan signing or two.

I'll be very, very happy if we get over the line without losing any of our players today. There have been bids, for a lot of money (if not what the players were worth to us and the club).

Credit where it is due. I don't like a lot of what Paul Barber is about in terms of high prices and the commercialisation of football, it has gone too far. But you have to be fair and also acknowledge that if we don't sell Ulloa and Bridcutt, it is because we don't have to thanks to some of those activities and we are not desperate for a few million, and retain the promotion ideal.

Exactly. It looks like Forest are going to lose one of their best midfielders (Guedioura) to Palace whilst we have managed to retain all our better players.

A couple of loans. I reckon TB and co are so glad the transfer window is closed, soon they can do a bit of business. Someone like Sharp could be available.

We've got one fit striker although a loan would do it, imo.

We have a two week break now to get players fit - I hope that we will get another quality striker in on loan - becchio or sharp if they didn't go in the transfer window then I think with a bit of luck (which Oscar seems to be lacking) - we are set for a good season!

I'm hoping Guidetti is available and possible on a 93 day loan.

Andrews yes.

Agustein? I'm I the only one who thinks he's lazy and unfit?

We were so much better on Saturday when he went off.

Agustien is unfit, but fortunately that's not a permanent and incurable condition. Our fitness coach is supposed to be particularly good, so I'm sure we'll start seeing the best of him by October.

Ulloa was unfit when he came to us last Feb as well.

How people can complain when it seems TB has held firm against offers today totalling around eight million quid is beyond me.

I've heard that Saints want the loanee to pay the majority of his wages, which may be a problem.

Bloody brilliant. Hats off to the club. We could have had our arses reamed today, but it didn't happen. I'm happy with that.

I'll be complaining if it turns out that TB didn't simply tell Palace to Phuck Right Off.

I'm absolutely ecstatic that we kept hold of Bridcutt, Ulloa and Barnesy. Kept the core of the Squad entirely together, now for the season ahead with maybe a Loan Striker coming in on the Loan Window then we will be fine.

Well done TB and Burke. :clap2:
