The issue here, as he very well displays, is he rejects the argument that his views are deemed racist, however, his angle on the migrant debate is not the plight of the migrants or their welfare but suspicion of their intentions without any foundation other than dubious media stories. That's xenophobia

I had to turn off after about thirty seconds. First his use of the abhorrent term “dinghy divers”. May as well say “banana boat”.
Then his comment about mobile phones meaning they are not in poverty. They aren’t escaping poverty. Nor do they claim to be.

I’m so glad racist old fat knackers like this idiot are in the minority.

That long?

When I first saw one of those vids I thought it was an Angelos parody until the penny dropped. Does he still have a Messiah complex stylee self title? When you add in the stalking allegations you end up with a most twisted candidate for a poster boy.

First time I’ve seen the fat cabby bloke, looks like your typical ignoramus. Judging by that double chin of his, he can’t be trusted to judge what’s best for himself so why he thinks anyone would think he knows what’s best for the country is rather puzzling.

The other one the Nazi posts all the time, the ratty, ginger bloke is a different bag of cabbage altogether. Allegedly a stalker, disciplined for making lewd comments to a co-presenter on air, sacked by the BBC.
He’s a nasty individual who will likely end up doing a spell at HMP.

Oh crossed wires. I was referencing the latter. I never watch those vids so don't note who makes them.

You mean over 60% claiming to be under age and the others who just run off from the beach never to be seen again, throw in the 80% of those making the illegall crossing to be male between the ages of 18 and 30 those media lies

And you wonder why the majority of people in this country are fed up with this still going on and paying for it while free loaders get put in hotels with spending money and clothing allowance thrown in

Tags ,curfews and a swift trip back to France for any time waster not entitled to be in this country

He’s an uneducated, scared, racist little man.

There is no doubt that what you say is true, but the thing that drives all his posts on this particular thread ?

The fear that someone who has had none of the opportunities, backing and support he has managed to waste from the moment he was born, given the very tiniest opportunity, would go on to support themselves (and their families) with a life with built on hard work, respect, intelligence, honesty and making a positive contribution to society.

That's what scares him most

I have been following these exchanges for a decade or more, now, (and engaging in quite a few). I have come to the conclusion that although PPF appears to be quite angry about illegal immigrants, he's not much bothered about what other people think, and has no more agenda other than to say what he thinks at any given moment.

I don't find that particularly engaging (I prefer to have a nice chat with people) but it is what it is.

A bloke used to go down our pub 20 years ago. Always cheerful, not very bright, happy and relaxed casual racism and sexism, no offense meant, socialism obviously wrong but, hey ho, kind of lad. Struggled to keep up with any sort of complex conversation ('if this then that so the other' sort of business). Thought a pharmacologist was an exotic farmer. If he didn't get it, he didn't really mind. Very secure in himself. Sadly, eventually the rest of us just stopped talking to him and he stopped visiting the pub unless some live music was on.

Most of PPF's posts are more than 2 standard deviations from the mean so I've decided to just leave it. It's too easy to mock, and most of the mocking goes over his head, and he really isn't bothered about it, so what's the point?

I personally wouldn't bother posting on a board where there are so many people who want to give me a metaphorical defenestration, and I still can't help feeling the old boy is a sort of middle-aged Cartman, but (and this may sound a bit controversial) I genuinely think he thinks he means well

Anyway, as the strapline of NSC indicates, we can all say what we want as long as we don't stoop below the threshold defined by the site owner and his moderators. I am well aware that there are plenty who think I'm a boring, patronizing, condescending old windbag, and I'm not going to let that cramp my style

Reading comments from some of the usual suspects on this thread throwing claims around about me like confetti does make me chuckle.

Totally clueless but it obviously gives them a sense of satisfaction and a bit of back slapping in the process, I'll stick to my guns in what i believe is that a majority of people in this country feel the same about the channel crossings

This is on tonight. It’s very good.

The Windermere Children is a 2020 biographical drama film written by Simon Block and directed by Michael Samuels. Based on the experience of child survivors of the Holocaust, it follows the children and staff of a camp set up on the Calgarth Estate in Troutbeck Bridge, near Lake Windermere, England, where the survivors were helped to rehabilitate, rebuild their lives, and integrate into the British society.
