It's been Brighton Pier for at least five years.

Now run along back to your own team. Is it so dull that you have to bring your tedium to us?
Likewise to those on the Palace site if you don`t like the banter p.ss off and and read a book.

Alright we could be a big club if we managed to consolidate our position in the top league and attract a few star players but it seems to go tits up for one way or another.

The free state of Kemp Town
I'm sick of Palace lads telling us their club is bigger than ours.

Selhurst park has to compete with all the clubs in London, particularly south of the river. And as they are the smallest club in London (now the dons have moved) their fans could easily up and support a more successful London club.

Brighton's closest league grounds meanwhile are Selhurst and Fratton Park which are both miles and miles off.

In terms of fan base, quite simply there are more people in Brighton's catchment area than there will ever be for Palace and the only reason we are currently the smaller of the two clubs is due to the years of mismanagement at boardroom level that have ultimately left us in this embarrassing Withdean situation.

Once Falmer is built I am certain we will be averaging bigger crowds than Palace and from there we can build our assault on the premiership, which we are far more likely to succeed in as the South Coast's premier club!

Go and have a look at the past attendences for Palace and Brighton and i`ll think you`ll find we averaged around 20000 -25.000 even in the old 2nd division,we also had 40.000 crowds when we went up in 1979 champions with 51.801 for our last game that season ever beaten that (NO) please qoute me if i`m wrong with these statistics.
