In all the euphoria about yesterdays league winning performance it seems to have gone unmentioned on here that we witnessed the return of Alan Navarro yesterday, welcome back & I hope that he gets the opportunity to stake his claim for a place in next seasons squad. If there was a thread on this then I apologise & you're welcome to childishly fixture me but I for one am very happy to see the return of a player who has come through a terrible injury to hopefully resume his career winning honours with us. He is a great example of what someone can become in a team after a questionable start if given time & support.:clap2:

Under your skin.
He came on against Rochdale. So it wasn't his return

By the seaside in West Somerset
It was great to see him back and with the ball at his feet as the whistle blew.
Hope it was more than a goodbye cameo.

Oops! Still the sentiment was there even if I have just made myself look like a plonker! Worse still, I actually remember now.

You're right though - Many said we'd lost our best midfielder when Nav got injured - And I was one of those and still stand b that. He looked brilliant at Windon on opening day after finally getting a good pre-season under his belt. Remember Steve Bruce's comments after the Sunderland friendly?

I think Nav should start a few games for us now to remind everyone how good he is.
