Yeah but can we afford to keep him?

If Dick Knight is to be believed the playing budget was increased by £750,000 this season. Add the Coca Cola money to that and that makes it up to a cool £1 million extra to spend on getting us relegated............

Well done Mcghee your a true legend.

Quite. I'd be interested to know how the money we'll lose in going down equates to the amount it'd cost to sack McGhee.

Ok so we sack McGhee tomorrow. Does that mean we stay up?
Honest answer.
Sunderland sacked McCarthy but haven't won today.

Maybe not but it will give the new manager time to look at the squad.

So why query the cost of sacking him?

Because it's being cited as the principle objection to doing so.

For the cost of relegation also read the cost of not coming back up. McGhee is bad for this club short-term and long-term - it'll be worth paying him to leave to have a chance at future prosperity.

Of course, in an ideal world, he'd do the decent thing and resign, but I hold out little hope of that.

Have I got this right?
We've won 6 in 52 games, are 7 points from safety with 7 games left and couldn't score in a brothel and yet 38%(so far) of people STILL want Magoo in.

I'm baffled by their logic ???

We wouldn't have time to get anyone in. There would probably be at least a month before anyone was chosen.
Better to wait until the end of the season when more people become available.

They know its shit and the lardy jock clown should be given his p45 but hey then they would have to admit to making a error backing something that the superfans and arse lickers would never do

Yorkie,
Do you think he will be our boss at the start of next season.

Honest answer is that I don't know.

There's literally no point changing now, whether you think he is good enough or not, its too late.
Survival = still achievable if very difficult. And give a new man the chance to assess the squad (especially the ones who will be out of contract) and plan for the summer and next season.

Ok,but for whats its worth just maybe there is a agreement between Mr Knight and Mr Mcghee that if we stay up there will be no change but if we go down Mcghee will resgin stating that he does not want to manage at league 1 level,Mr Knight will thank him for all his hard work and both parties move on

I think any Chairman with half a brain would keep a mental list of available managers. Especially when your manager performs as poorly as Mcghee.

Even the eternal optimist has to face up to the inevitability of relegation. Ok it's still not a mathematical certainty, but in reality on current form it's gonna happen.

Mcghee has done the damage and it's time he faced the consequences of his actions, He should go now.

By the way I would like to thank QPR for trying to help us win today.

Thank you for going down to 10 men, and thank you for scoring for us,

Just a shame we could'nt take advantage of your generosity and finish the job.
