It's a bit early isn't it? I'll wait for Chicken Runner to post....

Either that or wait until someone punts LARGE on a team to win, and then back the other team. Last weekend there was a £3,000 bet on Rochdale who then drew 1-1. In the week, there was big money for Southampton, who lost. Other examples include the chap who punted large on Bournemouth when they lost to Aldershot (I think). Or just wait for the Ladbrokes top 10 accumulator selections run down on the friday and leave all 10 teams out of my own... Last week the #1 selection was Real Madrid to beat Lyon!

Why anybody would bet on a Burnley result away from home is beyond me?

If Notts County can go to the DW Stadium and win 2-0, why can't "Premier League" Burnley get something?

I think that could be a decent tip this weeked, especially considering Wigan are odds on, which is hardly value considering they really can be rubbish. They both try and play a brand of football that is beyond their levels of abilities, in my opinion, but against each other it's quite a difficult match to call. I wouldn't be at all suprised to see a draw.

Because their away record is w0 d1 l14 f11 a46 ?

Because defeat to Wolves last weekend was Burnleys ninth loss in 11 league and cup games under Laws ?.

Aston Villa hadn't beaten Man Utd at Old Trafford in HOW long? ???

I'm not saying Burnley will win today, they're not good enough to be worth betting on, but you can look at ANY weekend in history and you'll find results which defied logic.

am hopeful today s i did a multiple bet of 4 players to get 2 goals or more each today/tomorrow. Carew has come in at 5/1 and now Bent has scored two. the other two are rooney and zamora!
