Last night I watched Boca Juniors lose in the Copa Sudamerica. They are certainly not firing on all cylinders since their coach left to become the new Argie boss (fans were worried because the new boss has no recent experience of the Argentine league - he's been in Mexico for years).
That was their first defeat for almost 6 months (barring the 1-0 reverse registered in bhabet's stats for a game abandoned at half time).
With just 2 days rest they are then to play Velez Sarsfield on Sunday afternoon and the forecast is for a hot sunny day. Velez have only lost once so far in the league this season and are improving week on week.
My guess is that Boca will need to rest a few of their best players after last night, especially with the "Superclassico" against River Plate the following weekend then the second leg of the Copa a couple of days afterwards.
With 5/1 for a Velez win and 7/2 for the draw no bet option, it's attracted my money!!
Must be better (and more realistic) value than West Ham ever were at 40/1 for the wafa cup.
