the mumbles area of Swansea is nice and peaceful (damn cheap beer, too!).

if you are lucky, may even bump into caherine zeta jones and michael douglas, who have a home there. often seen on town, say my nephews / student / spy!

Me and the wife go down the mumbles all the time, must be honest we have never seen Catherine or Mickey boy but yes apparently she does have a home just west of the mumbles, bonnie tyler has a house on the mumbles, ive met her hubby loads of times, but thats through work :D I would like to know where the cheap beer is though ? cos we certainly aint found it :drink: it is a really nice area though.

Aberystwyth is known as the "Welsh Brighton" :glare:

Good access to Snowdonia and all the more famous Welsh tourist attractions, but with decent pubs/restaurants/facilities on site. Plus you can get on something that resembles a 2nd rate version of the Volks Railway to a place called Devil's Bridge, which apparently has "word famous" waterfalls.

From what you have said ATFC, i am going to bring the wife there for a weekend away, can you recomend a good hotel ? or a few hotels ? it will be in about 3 to 4 weeks as were on hols soon, meet up for a beer if your interested :drink: :drink:
