10% margin for the bookies on cash out. I don’t get how you can put a bet on for day £50 and the cash out value before the event even starts is £45, unless the price changes obviously. Must be very lucrative for them.

I suppose if say you had put £50 on Brighton against villa and then found out to side we had put out, would give the chance to cash out before KO and only lose a fiver. That’s just my reasoning.

I've just put my Saturday 'betting pot' onto Liverpool to win (0-0 at half-time, so I got an in-play), Chelsea to win (sorry lads but this is cold hard cash here..) and Swansea to win.

If it comes up, I'll be enjoying a nice Curry this evening. If it loses, I sincerely hope it's the Chelsea bet which fails miserably thanks to a thumping from Brighton.

Despite having a nothing season Stybar is still in the lead group of the men's road race, in favourable conditions on a favourable course.

Currently 40/1 - worth a couple of quid, nothing silly.

If I were a betting man, I'd be lumping on Leicester this afternoon as Newcastle looked absolutely pony against us last week.

For those in Worthing who like a bet, have any of the William Hills shops in the area closed?

If anyone else in Sussex knows a shop that has closed that will be much appreciated too.

I know Hailsham, Rye and some in Brighton are closing, not sure which in Brighton though. Also two in Tunbridge Wells have closed, which is a shame.

WH by Portslade station has already closed and George Street branch is closing. It's still open but sign says nearest will be Queens Road, so the Western Rd shop may be closing as well.
