A welcome to the lower league to two GIANT clubs this weekend. Heartwarming.
What??
Mate it's the first game.
I wonder if you actually go to the games or indeed watch any football?
The table doesn't lie,we're bottom half FACT,where as the teams with ambition are easing away and opening up gaps.
Yeah mate we should be worried. No goals, no wins this season.
Looking like a relegation dog fight already
Easing away? They're three points off the bottom

There are some right tits on this forum and generally I do not rise to the bait. BUT if you are being serious you need a slap. Great away point today AND we would have smashed our transfer record during the week if it wasn't for a player putting money above everything else.
And who's going to do the slapping?
I'm afraid I missed this extravaganza, so perhaps someone could clue me in on the vital question. Because they are both such massive clubs, how did they address the question of giving each other the guard of honour they so richly deserve as a mark of respect for their huge fanbases and glorious heritages? Did they take it in turns, or did they simply applaud one another as they walked out?
Something tells me there will be a queue forming as I type
Villa looked a better side than Newcastle.
I saw the last half an hour or so, after the Shield - not impressed by either team. Wednesday were what they were last season, disciplined and organised without really having too much about them and relied on a big slice of luck to nick the winner. A 0-0 draw would probably have been reasonable on the evidence of that last half hour and I'd imagine that overall, both teams will be top half but I don't think either will be in the play-offs come the end of the season. Villa need to get a win on the board quickly though, momentum matters and they could easily find themselves cut adrift, I think the commentators said they have two home games in a row now, one of them being against Rotherham. Big game, so early on.
