You know I always hated Roy Keane, the player. I thought he was a terribly over rated thug of player, and a bit of a twat to boot. However, I am developing a certain amount of respect for Roy Keane, the manager.

I had no idea there was a Schmeichel jnr, let alone that he was a 'keeper plying his trade for a Mancunian team. Blow me down.

You've obviously never played Championship Manager!

I still hate the thug but you can't help but admire the way he's going about things at Sunderland.

It's funny how your hatred for a player lessens once they've left Manchester United. Go Kieran Richardson!

Is Schmeichel junior eligible to play for England, assuming that he was probably born here, or does he have to play for the country of his parents' birth...assuming that he would want to.

eligibility is't necessarily by birth. Di Canio and Peter Cech were eligible to play for England, I believe.

Cech??

Wasn't he playing for his country before he'd even set foot on our shores?

That's the one. And I'd have him between Wembley's sticks too, if he was actually playing regularly.

Lazy bastard could have got the number 1 jersey at plenty of other Premiership teams but he chooses to put his feet up, raking in the reddies as understudy to Mr Cech. Easy
