They got a lucky goal and we had a great goalkeeper for their penalty and to be fair and as a whole we looked like scoring even with 10 men and did.

I think Wednesday gave us a really hard game, had the penalty gone in we could have easily lost last night. The win was down to the team sticking together and not giving in. You can't coach that.

Their sendings off were pure frustration.

Yes it was sort of hard but we came out in the 2nd half attacking and were comfortably the better side in the first half and they got a flukey goal yet again.Of course they put on pressure when we were down to 10 but they wearnt good enough to capitalise it's that simple.
Just before the sending off we missed two great chances and they didn't create many clear cut chances.On their site they act as if they should have won when the fact is they didn't deserve to win and the better side did win.
We give them a penalty and a freaky own goal and they failed miserably

I thought first half was pretty even but second half performance clearly earned us a deserved win

This is exactly why Brighton are above us in the league. That's exactly what they would do in the same situation. I don't like it, it stinks; but to be competitive in the game today your team needs to cheat as much as everyone else.

I also like the one who is confident that video evidence will prevail and Stephens will get his rightful punishment. Presumably the same video evidence that will get Hutchinson the straight red he deserved and probably that sour faced **** mcnanaman too.

Is it only me or did a lot of people see the angry swipe of the left foot/boot that wound Stephens up? Owlstalk used a nice cut on the vid evidence to avoid showing that petulant swipe. If were Stephens I'd have reacted exactly the same. Stupid myopic Wednesday fans.

Yes, mentioned a few times on here. Ball was long gone by the time he decided to take a swipe at thin air and presumably some part of Dale. Was quite obviously what wound him up.
