Brighton total wage bill 19/20 according to the latest accounts = £103,000,000
Brighton total wage bill according to salarysport.com = £44,097,820

Individual salaries are confidential information and I'd hazard a guess that salarysport.com is complete guess work. In addition to this, there is no way in hell that Florin Andone and Jose Izqueirdo are earning double Bissouma's weekly wage.

I'm sure the vast majority of this stuff is bollocks.
Guesses made by semi ITK individuals, based on their expectations.
Probably fuelled by agents trying to increase the potential of their clients.

If not the players, who should get the money generated by broadcast rights, bearing in mind it is the players in the premier league that, in the main, people pay to watch?

Don't think it is. People in the most part are fans of clubs and not players. I don't suppose there are many people who change clubs to follow a transferred player.

....

For them to be out by such a huge amount speaks volumes.

Yes, I mean I presume that it's just a total based on the figures on the site but the idea that our whole first team playing squad (35 players) wage is £848,035 means that we are paying non-playing staff/youth players a share of £1.1m a week. It is highly unlikely seeing as we know Paul Barber's wage is around £28k a week and he is most likely to be the top earning non-playing staff (probably including the manager).

On top of that, it also implies that our top 4 earners (2 of which have appeared in less than half of our PL games) earn 27% of our total wage bill...
