Global warming or not but it's the middle of November and I saw a butterfly this morning (alive) and a ladybird this afternoon.

Plus my grass which I cut a month ago is in desperate need of another cut.

Mad.

It is (finally) getting cold over here but yeah I saw wasps just ten days ago.

Glad to hear you were alive this morning, sorry about the grass though.

I brought some washing in from the garden a couple of days ago, with a Red Admiral that started flying round the house. This was the fella, before the emotional release back to the wild.

It is mild for mid November but something a bit more wintery is definitely on its way on Sunday for now my Koi haven't got a scooby what's going on as one female has decided it's time to get the lads chasing her again, I've only had them 2 years so not sure if that's unusual to be spawning this late but if they are up to the monkey biz then that's 3 times this year! Lucky bleeders.

I’ve got some carp porn on my phone.

Had this very same thought earlier. It was 14 degrees up in the industrial north earlier; it should be about 10 degrees south of that by now shouldn’t it?

Genuinely worrying if that’s a quirk of global warming and not just a freak patch of weather. I still don’t think there’s been a day since the turn of spring yet where I’ve thought, ooh, it’s a bit chilly.

It's almost as if the climate is changing.

Swum off Seaford yesterday and sat on the beach in just my swim shorts afterwards, and I wasn’t alone, three other swimmers down there soaking up the rays after their swims and not a wetsuit in sight. Great times, great guys (and gals)

I was really feeling the cold this afternoon that I had to put my thick winter coat on and getting up is so dreadful at this time of the year that I practically shiver when I come out of the shower. Please, let's have a mild winter.

An imbalance of my blood not getting enough oxygen. Ferrous sulfate tablets do help but maybe I need to up my dosage.

If you are in Sussex and thought this afternoon was cold, wait until winter.

Was working outside in a T shirt (and trousers Swanny :p) until the sun went down, was lovely and warm in t'sun.

Saw an ‘older’ guy yesterday sunbathing outside his garage in just a pair of shorts :moo:

Certainly not denying climate change, but isn't it the case that this time of year is a bit all over the place weather wise? Some years pretty cold, some years pretty wet (last year!), some years still quite mild... Same with April the other side of winter!

Aye…someone mentioned earlier that he had to cut his grass as it had grown since he last cut it a month ago…thats not unusual at all

Was there really any need to bite its right wing off? ???
