Just heard on Radio 2 that its is snowing very heavily and motorway and A roads outside Exeter have been hit real bad.

Nothing in N.Somerset yet, although I had just noticed that we are apparently due some at lunchtime.
Www.raintoday.co.uk shows stuff over Exeter currently.

I'm posting from Exeter. There is no snow here at all. There's only been some light wet sleet. Exeter has a mild micro-climate and isn't usually affected by snow on nearby high ground. If conditions do deteriorate (looks unlikely at the moment) I'll post again on this thread.

Just checked highways agency website, shows 'adverse weather' on roads to Exeter but no traffic yet. I guess it should be alright as long as temps stay above freezing?
