What is the best weather app for Android?

I’m on iOS so clearly cant recommend with certainty but I’d ask what your main focus is from a weather app?

Accuracy?
Functionality?
Widgets?

I have c4-5 diff ones depending on what I want:

Metoffice
Weather channel
Accuweather
BBC
RainToday

But often find myself going to the mobile site for Ventusky as it has excellent features and works incredibly well on Safari.

I just use Google Weather, built into the home screen of my phone (Pixel 2).

I think you can get to the same thing by asking Google for the weather.

It uses weather.com data.

Met office is the most accurate.

Storm radar is best for tracking the rain.

As a cricket dad this is an important subject to me. These are the only ones worth looking at in my experience.

Not an app, but any forecast that isn’t netweather is utter TOSH.

Netweather.tv is excellent for cricket related rain tracking,

As a gardener I use 3 and take an average (still surprised how often they are inaccurate). Met Office, BBC and Netweather.

I use 'rain alarm' - neat little app, pops up an alert when rain is seen within 30miles or so - real-time tracking of rain radars, not a forecaster, but it gives a neat animated view of rain over the last hour or so up until now, so you can see it approaching (or passing you by), intensity etc
