In the first half I thought we didn't just play badly but were physically dominated by Leeds.

I'm not moaning because I love the way we play but it seemed that were a bit taken aback with the power and agression they showed. I guess this is just adjusting to life in the Championship.

You could also see this with their last-gasp equaliser. Howson more or less just ran through Marcos. I know he was trying to avoid giving away a penalty but it was a terrible route one goal to concede.

If we just come out ready for a bit of biff as well as playing our football I'm sure we'll be fine.

For the record this is not a moan - I had a brilliant night (except they've always just run out of Harveys when I get to the front of the queue).

To be fair though, as Leeds scored in the 93rd minute according to Palace fans Leeds were lucky.

howson was moving at some speed and painter i thought was trying not to concede a penalty..not sure that was anything to do with outmuscle......in the first half they were organised and quicker at moving the ball around...we were being out numbered in the middle with 2 wide men....still gutted about that equaliser...more for the team thn myself...was a fantastic comeback...what a match

Anyone think Lua Lua is a bit of a luxury?! He does beat players but quite a few times his control is not good and opposing players get the ball back too quickly and create a dangerous attack. This happened on 3 occasions last night and has happened in other games. I love Lua lua but he gives me heart pupitations when he has the ball in midfield because you know there is a 50/50 chance he will lose the ball. Not on the best of form IMO.

Probably working!
Vicente looked like he wasn't going to be muscled off the ball,he ran through them at one stage! i think that was down to skill more than strength though.
